@Kenyan Cox
My name is Kenyan Cox, and I am a 26-year-old guitarist with over 14 years of playing experience across a wide range of styles, including Rock, Blues, Country, Smooth Jazz, Southern Gospel, and Contemporary Christian music. Over the years, I have performed locally and have had the opportunity to play with numerous churches and bands throughout Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma, as well as internationally. These experiences have allowed me to develop a well-rounded understanding of both live performance and practical musicianship.
As a teacher, my goal is to help students reach their individual musical goals while gaining a deeper understanding of the guitar. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the instrument in a way that is clear, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I teach everything from the basics of acoustic guitar for beginners to intermediate and advanced electric guitar techniques, covering tone, technique, rhythm, lead playing, and musical expression.
I strongly believe that with consistent practice, proper structure, and the right guidance, any student can make real progress. My lessons are designed to help students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and better express their creativity and passion for the instrument, ultimately helping them succeed wherever they want to go musically.
